Camping
safaris are for those who enjoy the wilderness. Participants are expected
to help with the camp chores. Meals will be prepared by an expert safari
cook over wood fires. Those who join are from all walks of life and
nationalities, usually between 16 and 60 years old. However, age is
not a criterion - all that is needed is a sense of humour, a willingness
to participate and a spirit of adventure. Participants
need to bring the following:
A sleeping bag (these are available for hire), personal spending money,
a small bag per person (extra luggage can be stored at the owner's
risk), a torch, toilet paper, insect repellent, a set of warm clothes,
plenty of clothes for the hot days and a film for the duration of
the safari. It is recommended that participants bring drinks for consumption
around the campfire in the evenings.
