Seat in Vehicle Safaris
Our seat in vehicle safaris provides an outstanding opportunity to experience Tanzania’s most popular wildlife parks whilst sharing the experience with like-minded travellers.
These safaris are an exceptional value because the cost of transportation is shared between all participants. A single traveller or a couple should find the savings significant over a safari where transport is not shared. Of course, should you wish to have one of these itineraries on a private basis, we are more than happy to assist.
We can also assist with accommodation in Arusha before or after the safari and add meet & greet service and transfers from Kilimanjaro International Airport or Namanga or Taveta border where required.
This would be a sharing safari with 4x4 customized safari vehicle with an English speaking driver/guide.

DAY 01 – Arusha to Tarangire
Transfer from Arusha City Centre to Tarangire passing through the countryside with several villages and farms.
Dinner and overnight at TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE (D)

DAY 02 – Tarangire - Ngorongoro
After breakfast you will start your game drive through Tarangire National Park, the sixth largest wildlife park in Tanzania, gaining its name from the Tarangire River which runs right through the park. This river is a watering hole for wild animals and the only water source during the long, dry season. Additionally, birds use the swamp area as their breeding ground. The park is also famed for its thousands of termite mounds which are impossible to miss as there are so many mini-mountains!
Return to the lodge for lunch or you may opt for a picnic lunch. The journey continues North West across the stunning hilly countryside of the highlands which is filled with Farms.

DAY 03 - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, this morning as you depart to Explore the World’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Ngorongoro Crater is often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world! The crater is home to over 25,000 large mammals and was the result of an erupted volcano thousands of years ago. The animals live in harmony in the huge, walled crater which also houses stunning lakes, lush forests and vast plains. Due to its size and diversity, the crater floor is comprised of several distinct areas, ranging from forest, swamps, lakes and springs, to open grassland and some sandy dunes. It’s an awesome wildlife experience.
A picnic lunch is served overlooking a small lake populated with hippos.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and conservation area. It is located West of Arusha City. It is often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world and is one of Africa’s best places to see wildlife in its natural habitat. It is simply magnificent and has stayed the same for thousands of years. Within the deep walls of the crater you'll find 25,000 large mammals living there. They wander through the lakes and forests. Some of the wildlife to be seen are bull elephants, rhinos, lions, hyena, buffalo, wildebeest and so many more in all their magnificence.

DAY 04 – Ngorongoro to Arusha
After breakfast, depart and head to Arusha passing through the Masai Steppe filled with many villages as well as Farms (B)
